Numerical Study of Thermochemistry and Trace Element Behavior during the Co-Combustion of Coal and Sludge in Boiler

Sludge is one of the main pollutants from sewage treatment and contains a high content water organic matter. The co-combustion sludge coal can bring about energy conversion sludge. However, moisture in inorganic generated by have adverse effects on combustion environment. In this work, through experimentation, it was demonstrated that does not release obvious toxic elements or create an environmental hazard. On basis TG/DTG curves, ignition points temperature each group were obtained, which provided boundary conditions for numerical simulation. Co-combustion with various mixing ratios contents studied via simulation 330 MW boiler. results show ratio reduced boiler created more fuel NOx. When reached 40%, became less than temperature. drying improved internal boiler, but thermal decreased to rose, combustion.
